  The Last day at St Goretti  At 11 am we were asked to held a meeting and we brought ladoos for teaching and non teaching staffs and brought an indoor plant for our Sister (HM). Sreelekshmi delivered a vote of thanks and then we took a picture with Sister and all teachers.  And stepping out of the gate of St Goretti was little hard because I'll surely miss this school and the ambience.  At the started things were not that easy but still we got used to it. I never thought I'll miss this place but yes I am.....

 My work highlights more on the ways on how teachers could make classes more interesting and effective. Onlinebased teaching mainly involves jam boards and PowerPoint. Innovatively I could spice up a normal traditional PowerPoint into an educational game through PowerPoint games to give the students a real time competitive experience and environment of gami ng along with learning. All the components of PowerPoint can be used through these created online games and can make classes more interesting. It will not be just a normal traditional PowerPoint presentation instead; the classes will be more effective w ith PowerPoint games. The subject English can be little boring after some when it is taught through online mode. The only way out of this can be teaching English through online games with the help of Microsoft PowerPoint.   I have prepared a realtime PowerPoint game with 23 slides.  Today I had invigilation duty in 9A class which consisted of 8A and 9A boys only class. It was really a challenge.  I got duty with Thresiamma teacher who was my subject incharge in school. Today they had English exam and doubts were too much when they saw me. Also few stydents wanted to know my name in between the exam which was funny😁 .  Then I took up the challenge well and students saw another face of mine😅.  Afternoon session again I got duty in the same class with Rose sister and I had to scold a student who back answered and mocked at me. Then Sir in the next class came and made him sit outside. The student was starring at me in a very bad way which made me little uncomfortable but all went really well and it was totally a challenging experience. 

 Today exams started and some of us got exam duties in certain classes and others got relieving duties. We did our best and this was our first experience as invigilators. We did our duties with great dedication.  Exams was conducted at forenoon and afternoon and we had duties accordingly. 

  Today was my last class as tomorrow most of them will be on leave. Today I took Remedial class and conducted diagnostic test. Also I gave them sweets and my 9B was very happy. Also I took feedback from them and it made my eyes water. Then I took a picture with them to keep it in my memories. And I also wished them all the best as on 24th their onam exams will be starting. 

  And yes finally we reached to the last weekend at St Goretti. From Monday onwards we are approaching to the final week. On 24th first term exams were going to start. As today was Friday I had period on 4th hour and I took a Remedial class on grammar and completed all text book activities.  After that as I was free, I went to the LP session to take my sample and conduct pre test and post test regarding my project. I was truly a great experience.  I took class in 3D and it was a memorable day.

 Today we conducted conscientization program for 9C. The idea or the person behind the topic was Sr. Jeena. The topic was Stress management. Me and my Co trainee teacher Emily shared one slide and had an interactive session.

 We were assigned the job for conducting the Independence day. We took this as a challenge.  We were instructed to arrive at school by 7.30 AM to prepare the students for various events before the flag hoisting at 8.30 AM. There were students dressed up representing different states for the program 'Unity in Diversity' and students dressed as freedom fighters for the program 'With the Leaders'. Most of the freedom fighters were 10 A boys and making them dressed up was the funniest moment of this day. Most of them showed up late at 8 AM and all of us our efforts with the timely help from the parents made it possible to start the rally on time.  After the rally, students assembled at the auditorium for the scheduled program. Dr Saju of the Chemistry department of Mar Ivanios College was the chief guest. I was little tensed because I was the main coordinator of the programs where I assigned sub coordinators for each program. My constant support was Sini maam and Vachana si

 Friday was also a leave due to rain and on Monday gave a fresh start with a slight shine of sun. It was a normal day and I started to feel little tensed about my portion that needs to be completed.  As it was Monday, I had seventh period and I was preparing myself to take the portion little fast. But thankfully I got one free period too. Also this day too came to an end.

After a long rainy break for two days, again we are back to the school drenched in rain. As usual I stood for duty and followed by a prayer session. There was nothing special on this day but felt happy when my kids told that they could understand better when I teach them. I had fourth period and I was all free today after that. Then I went back home before the rain strengthens.

 August 1 Today I reached by 8:45 am sharp and I entered into my duties. Then followed by morning prayer. As it was Monday I had last period and was free till then.  Then suddenly before break we had a guest and that was our principal Benedict Sir. He observed certain classes and also signed our records. Last period i went to the class and took a portion but students were too restless as it was last period. And also this day came to an end.
